As the gifts ideas to give him or her the present is give them a piece of it:
You can get supplies at the craft store for a beach terrarium. Buy a small glass fishbowl with fluted edges, fill it partway with sand and seashells. Fit a styrofoam stopper into the top of the bowl, and glue more shells to the styrofoam. This is a simple and decorative gift.
To make your gifts more attractive and impressive, you can also wrap a ribbon around the neck of the bowl in a color that coordinates with the recipient’s decor. These also make lovely centerpieces for a beach theme party.

How simple is it to enter into the craft store, pick up unique gift, covering, and give it? Sure, it can be the simple things and often less expensive to give a gift from the deeper of heart. Do you understand what your present recipient likes?
With the aid of a computer and the local arts & crafts store, it’s not too difficult to create presents that appreciated for their personality. One kind of gift can represent so many than something you can buy from the store.
Do you want to give a gift to someone who likes to write? A hand bound journal is a gift well appreciated by the scribes of the world. To make a simple journal, start with 5 sheets of standard paper. You can use regular copy paper or a fancier linen type, but make sure to use a light, solid color so it’s easy to read when written on. And then, follow the next step below:
-
Cut the paper in half so you have 10 sheets of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ paper.
-
Fold these inside each other, and then use a push pin to punch two holes in the fold to create the book.
-
Cut a strong piece of art paper, it’s available at most craft stores, that 1/4″ longer than your book to use as the cover.
-
Place the cover around the pages and use a needle to pull a piece of ribbon through the holes.
-
Tie them on the outside of the cover and you have a simple journal.
-
Visit your local library for books on bookbinding to make fancier books.
Worthiness messages:
A nice accompaniment to a hand-made journal is a selection of pens and pencils or a fine writing instrument.

Unique Clothes Line
Posted by craft on
March 22, 2008
The clothes line cover is attached to the clothes line using a unique draw string system which allows for the cover to be installed or removed in just a matter of minutes. Clothes and washing can still be hung easily on the clothes line at anytime, with the covers also providing high UV resistance which helps to extend the life clothes. Being both waterproof and UV resistant, the new range of clothes line covers are often a cheap alternative to the much more expensive option of installing a shade sail or shade structure.
Clothes line covers are not recommended for permanent use as they can cause damage to clothes lines in high wind situations, with warranties being declared void by clothes line manufactures in these types of situations. At present clothes line covers are made from a high quality nylon material called nylon taffeta, which has a high UV resistance and comes with a silver backing.
Covers made from nylon taffeta are currently only available in the colour emerald green, with covers coloured white and heritage green available in the near future. Shade cloth clothes line covers will be available early next year which will provide another option for people who are looking for a clothes line cover to keep bird droppings, fruit tree stains and general air borne stains off their clothes.

Why Cloth Is Good As Craft Material
Posted by craft on
March 20, 2008
As you know, cloth is good handicraft material, because of easy to shape, great looking, and also agreeable to mix with other stuff. For another reason about how cloth is perfect as material for handicraft, Kelly Newton, the sales Manager for Lifestyle Clotheslines states, said “the new range of clothes line covers now available really make a difference in the way people use a clothes line for both drying clothes and entertaining”.
Clothes line covers are now available for both folding head clothes lines and the old style of fixed head clothes lines and washing lines. For the old Hills Hoist style of clothes line there is a specifically designed Hills clothes line cover which allows for easy installation and removal of the clothes line covers on all Hills clothes line models.
The new clothes line cover style and designs now available, allows for the complete transformation of the clothes line into a stylish garden accessory. With the use of a clothes line cover the clothesline is turned into a giant umbrella which allows for some cool summer dining or a large shaded area for kids to play safely under. As most clothes lines and washing lines are concreted into the ground, there is no way kids can pull over or climb up and topple them over which has been a problem with some umbrella setups in the past.
