Scene Hair

Emo, a subgenre of hardcore punk, was one of the most popular music styles in the’80s. With time, the music came to be associated with a certain style of fashion. Today, the term ‘emo’ is associated more with the ‘fashion’ than the ‘music’. The typical emo look is characterized by tight jeans, figure hugging t-shirts, long fringe (bangs), straight hair dyed black or blonde, studded belts and canvas sneakers. Amongst the numerous hairstyles
Most popular amongst those who follow emo hairstyles is the scene hair. Which can be determined by shaggy, choppy or blunt. If you are also interested in sporting the scene hair look go through the next few lines and pick up some helpful hints to do your own scene hairstyles.
How To Get Scene Hair
In order to have scene type hair, you need to grow your hair and bangs long enough. If your hair is too short you may want to add to extensions. Bangs should reach at least to your cheeks. If you want long bangs then you should make sure the hair goes past your chin.
You can either get your haircut professionally or try and do it yourself. If you goi to someone it is a good idea to take pictures of the exact style that you want.
If you are cutting the hair yourself then taper the bangs so that they cover only one eye.
As for the rest of your hair cut the layers very blocky or choppy.
The back of the hair should not touch your shoulders. It has to be kept hardly a few inches below your hairline, at the nape of your neck.
You will need to straighten your hair if needed. If your hair is straight then you are lucky and can skip this step.
Next you will want to color your hair. The best colors are black or bleach blond or both.
* After coloring your hair, you will be required to add streaks. For blonde hair, bright blue or pink will look good. In case of black hair, it is best to go for blonde streaks.
You can style your emo scene hair further. Using wax, separate the layers piece by piece. With wax covered fingers, and pull down on the hair. The layers will stand separate from one another, looking hot. Use a light hairspray to make the hair stay in place.

Potty Training Boys – 3 Reasons You Should Start Potty Training A Boy Sitting Down
Posted by Lily Adams on
November 6, 2009
Potty training boys can be much harder than potty training girls, usually just because they have more steps to learn. This article will discuss 3 reasons to begin potty training a boy sitting down.
1. Much Less Confusion: Despite learning how to urinate standing up or sitting down, they will still have to learn how to go to the bathroom sitting down when they have to have a bowel movement. So it is often recommended that they learn how to do both sitting down first, that way they don’t have to learn two different skills at the same time.
2. Fewer Messes: After they have mastered urinating standing up, it is likely you will have more messes to clean up as they perfect their aim. This is a natural part of the process and may make things a little more difficult for you if it is done in combination with simply learning to use the potty. If you potty train a boy sitting down first, there will be fewer messes to deal with which will make things go smoother for both of you.
3. Faster Results: If you start by first tackling the use of the potty, rather than each individual process, you will most likely see faster results for the whole process. Then after they have successfully learned how to use the potty, learning how to pee standing up won’t be nearly as difficult and yes there will be messes to clean up, but these messes won’t be in addition to the other inevitable accidents that come with potty training in the first place.
In this article we looked at 3 reasons to start potty training a boy sitting down. Boys have more to learn than girls do, because of this sitting down during the process is less confusing for them. The benefits are fewer messes in the beginning and faster results since tackling one step at a time is much easier on both of you.
Potty training toddlers is really hard; weeks of accidents and frustration are usually inevitable. But the end result is worth it; hopefully the above steps will help you get through the diaper to underwear transition.
Potty train your boy sitting down or standing up? That is the question…

Cooking Crafts
Baking is another fun activity to go along with crafts. Have your kids make their own cookie jars and then bake some cookies to place in the jars. Or, bake a cake and teach them to decorate it with frosting, sprinkles, and other cake ornaments. Buy various shapes of pans and cutters for making cupcakes, cookies, and bread. Also, make creative popcorn treats for a movie night.
Other Educational Craft Themes
Some other themes that are both fun and educational include holiday crafts, toilet roll crafts, bible crafts, egg crate creations, sewing or quilting, beading, face painting, and flip flop crafts. Whatever theme you want to try, be sure to find an age-appropriate book with craft ideas. Craft books can show you how to create crafts for kids from start to finish and which materials and supplies are needed. For young quilters, quilting books offer detailed instructions on their level.
