Installation of an indoor water fountain is a fantastic way to enhance the looks of any room. It allows water sounds soothing your mind when the water is flowing down.
Its quite general for doctors, dentists and psychologists to have these fountains in their offices. Such places are likely to impose some stress on the clients and the water fountains can help them overcome the stress.
Unlike the outdoor form that is quite large sized, the decorative indoor water fountain are small. In fact they can be easily placed on a shelf or table. Smaller designs of these fountains can be hung from the wall, whereas slightly bigger designs are appropriately placed on the floor near the entrance. Its a very good option to have a water fountain so designed that water flows down a slope, giving it the looks of a stream from where the pets may drink water.
Do you want an indoor water fountain that doesn’t use electricity?. Then you can choose for a water fountain operating on solar power or batteries. A battery-operated water fountain can be usually placed on a shelf or table.
You may be aware that in a small water fountain it is the same water that goes up and down repeatedly. The procedure of circulation causes some evaporation of water that has to be maintained at a predefined level. Failure to maintain the level may cause damage to the motor.
Bigger designs of such indoor fountains that cant be accommodated on a shelf or a table are kept on a pedestal to get the appearance of an urn. Its almost customary to have rocks at the bottom of such indoor fountains. Its pedestal is formed to catch stray water-drops, lest these pose a safety hazard. On reaching the top, the water bubble cracks to make sound.
You need not join a small water fountain to a water source, as it circulates the same water. But the device has to be connected to the electrical supply. Else, you may opt for a solar indoor water fountain. Such a fountain comes power from the sun and needs to be placed near window that gets enough of sunlight. Remember to maintain the water level.
Wall type indoor fountains have a tray for collecting water which is again dispersed back to the fountain. Such fountains need a constant maintenance of level of water that continues to evaporate. Most of these types of indoor water fountains are battery worked, and there is no problem of hanging cords.

After prepared the materials of Thanksgiving decorating project completely now you can start by painting your pumpkin. It is not necessary to paint the entire pumpkin with a base color. You can leave it natural and just paint the facial details. You will be using the whole pumpkin as the pilgrim’s head.
Begin with the eyes, allowing enough room to set a pilgrim’s black hat on the pumpkin’s “head”. In painting the eyes, use white paint to paint the shape of the eye itself. Next paint the iris with blue, brown or a light green paint. Use black acrylic paint to paint in the pupil and outline the eyes. Add eyelashes with black paint. Next paint the mouth with red acrylic paint. Read the rest of this entry »

Here we come to the next steps of Thanksgiving decorating ideas. Now, you can cut a rectangular shaped piece of felt the width you want the height of the hat to be. You can check by rolling the felt rectangle over to where the cut ends would meet to see if it’s the appropriate size before completely cutting the rectangle out of the piece of felt. For a large pumpkin the width should be 7-8 inches.
The length of the rectangle is going to be based entirely on the circumference of the pumpkin. Remember the circle you are going to make with this has to be smaller in diameter than the round piece you attached to the top of the pumpkin so the hat has a brim. Read the rest of this entry »

After done with all of the Thanksgiving pilgrim decorating steps, now you can finish by attaching the other end of the felt over the top of the poster board. The poster board insures the hat will stand up straight. Use the glue gun to join the ends of the rectangle to make a circle that is about 1 -2 inches smaller in diameter than the circle of felt you attached to the pumpkin.
Take the glue gun and carefully attach the circle you have made to the round piece of felt on top of the pumpkin. After the glue has dried, cut a circle out to fit on top of the hat and attach with the glue gun. This circle needs to be the same size in diameter as the body of the hat you created with the rectangle.
When the hot glue has dried the final step in your creation of a pilgrim is to draw a buckle with the metallic gold paint on the front lower portion of the hat just above the brim. Read the rest of this entry »

To decorating your pumpkin, you can border on two basic. The first is to carve a face or other design into the flesh, and the second is to paint the pumpkin’s surface.
