Great Collages Paper

Most persons are enjoyed on creating wrapping paper with old magazine pictures. I use pictures harvested from gardening magazines and catalogues for women. For manly gifts, that’s good ideas to hunt through such periodicals as field and stream or cull some masculine pictures from family magazines. Sometimes you can also use plain colors in strips or swirls and add words both wise and witty.

The pictures can be connected to each other or you can put on a large piece of plain paper. This can be done on the box or made up and then put on the box or other container. As a matter of fact I like to keep a number of them on hand for gifts not only at Christmas but throughout the year. Many tins are very pretty. Other items besides cookies and candy can be packed in a tin. In fact anything that can fin in a tin can go in one. Then all you have to do is add a tag or a bow and you are done.

Useful Cereal or Shoe Boxes

Both shoe boxes and cereal boxes absolutely free and can fit many gifts. They work well for children’s gifts. They can also be covered in paper or cloth and are good for a collection of small things such as several children’s books and a small toy or two.

If you want to wrap Christmas gifts there is no need to buy a gift box when you plan a little bit in advance by saving the box when you finish your breakfast cereal. Shoe boxes can be saved when you purchase shoes but they can also be gathered at your local shoe store. Just ask the clerk for several empty boxes. Shoe stores generally are willing to give their extras to you for free.

Double Function Cloth

If you are giving a Christmas gift to a new parent by receiving blanket to wrap the gift in and save the trouble of purchasing wrapping paper is a good idea. You can use a large towel to wrap a gift. Or a piece of cloth can be a good stuff to wrapping a gift and also can become a part of the gift too. A piece of cloth edged nicely can be a table cover. A piece of clothes seamed and edged can be a bag to slip a gift into. I’ve even seen curtains used to wrap a gift.

Make Your Own Tags

Most computers have one or more programs which can be used to make small tags. These tags with to and from already printed on them and your name printed also can save you some time. All you have to add is the name of the person to whom you are gifting the item. You can make the tags as fancy.

If you want it to wrapping gifts for Christmas, all you need to do is try to find the unique words (better find handwriting types to make it personal). And off course you can add any fun or religion pictures as theme to represent the holy atmosphere.
