Rectangle Rectangular Circle

Here we come to the next steps of Thanksgiving decorating ideas. Now, you can cut a rectangular shaped piece of felt the width you want the height of the hat to be. You can check by rolling the felt rectangle over to where the cut ends would meet to see if it’s the appropriate size before completely cutting the rectangle out of the piece of felt. For a large pumpkin the width should be 7-8 inches.
The length of the rectangle is going to be based entirely on the circumference of the pumpkin. Remember the circle you are going to make with this has to be smaller in diameter than the round piece you attached to the top of the pumpkin so the hat has a brim.
Once you have the appropriate size rectangle cut, lay it on the poster board and cut an identical size piece of poster board. Line up the felt against the poster board, felt on top. Using the glue gun, attach one end of the felt over the top of one end of the poster board. Smooth the felt across the poster board and about midway lightly attach it to the poster board with the glue gun.
Yeah… you’ve got it, now let’s finishing this Thanksgiving project by follow the final steps.
