Making Your Own Paper

Paper to wrap a small gift can be created on your computer printer by printing a message such as Merry Christmas or a picture or drawing. All you need is some ink and an idea. Most of us have several fonts to choose from and lots of color choices. It only takes a few minutes and you can save your ideas to a file on your computer desk top so that you can print more lately if you want more.
Larger wrapping paper can be made by buying ends of newsprint rolls from your local newspaper printer or a roll of paper table cloth paper. Then you may cut off the amount you want and wrap your large gift in the plain paper. After wrapping you can take a bright pen or marker and write a message like “Happy Birthday Jesus” or “Joy to the World” on the wrapping.
Or you can leave the paper plain and add curled ribbons or bows. A sprig of greenery and a card can dress up a package. A bouquet of dried flowers with a small card can look festive. Or a bundle of cinnamon sticks with a bright ribbon tying it together and to the package can be a cheery touch.
