What would the holidays be without gingerbread?
This activity is good for all ages and promotes cooking, decorating, fine motor, design, and artistic skills. Gingerbread men can be made from scratch, from a mix, or bought ready made. Decorate with icing, raisins, sprinkles, and candies for some homemade treats or gifts.
Painting the gingerbread men with acrylic paint, followed by several coats of polyurethane or shellac, creates wonderful and whimsical ornaments for your tree or as gifts. Obviously, these men are not for eating!
